InnovateX 2024

Overview

InnovateX 2024 is a virtual regional fellowship led by Creating Opportunities International to empower youth across South Asia through entrepreneurship education, mentorship, and cross-border collaboration. The event was held online on July 27–28, 2024.

The Challenge

Young aspiring entrepreneurs in South Asia often face limited access to practical knowledge, mentorship, and inclusive learning platforms. Many lack opportunities to connect with peers or experts across borders.

Our Approach

• Conducted a fully virtual, cost-free fellowship open to all. • Delivered curated sessions via Zoom, supported by mentors, keynote speakers, and industry experts. • Partnered with 20+ organizations and regional ambassadors for outreach. • Maintained real-time participant engagement and professional standards.

Key Results

  • Over 1,000 applicants from South Asia and MENA regions.
  • 500+ active participants over two days.
  • 10+ hours of workshops, panels, and mentorship.
  • Certified 80%+ participants based on rigorous attendance verification.
  • Strengthened regional partnerships and youth leadership networks.

Conclusion

InnovateX 2024 successfully bridged the entrepreneurship knowledge gap for South Asian youth. With strong outcomes and positive feedback, the program is set to scale through future hybrid formats, alumni networks, and post-event incubation support.

InnovateX was more than an event—it was a movement. Seeing more than 500 passionate individuals come together virtually from across the region was truly humbling. As Project Head, I witnessed the power of youth collaboration firsthand. This initiative has laid the foundation for a more connected and innovative South Asia.
